IREI’s Use of Information Collected
When you visit the iREOC website to submit an inquiry and request to be on our mailing list for our iREOC news alerts, etc., you choose to give us basic information: name, email address, mailing address, ZIP code and phone number. This allows us to provide you with excellent customer service. There may be times, such as when you subscribe to our complimentary news alerts, when we ask you to provide certain information about yourself, such as your name, shipping/billing address, telephone number, email address, job title, etc. It is your choice whether you would like to provide your personal information. But if you choose not to provide the information requested, you may not be able to access products, or access offers and content on our website. In addition, we may need to contact you via phone, email or mail to address questions or issues specific to your request or contact inquiry, even if you have opted to not receive communications from us.
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our website to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our website periodically. Customers may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can visit many of our web pages without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. We may track the Internet domain address from which people visit us and analyze this data for trends and statistics, but individual users will remain anonymous. To serve our customers, we gather two types of information from visitors to our website: anonymous usage information and the personal information provided by those who register with us to subscribe to our news alerts and receive email special offers.
When you visit the iREOC website, we may collect more information such as your Internet service provider’s address, the name of the web page directing you, as well as your clicks and activity on our site. This information does not personally identify you, but it may help us understand how to make our site more user-friendly to our customers. This information is collected through “traffic data” and may entail the use of “cookies,” “IP addresses”.
Our servers track your usage by logging your IP address. We do not associate the anonymous information we collect through the tags with any personal information, and we do not otherwise monitor this information on an individual basis. Instead, we aggregate this usage information and use it only to monitor broad usage trends, to evaluate the effectiveness of our website’s design, to determine what customers do and do not use on the website, and to improve the site’s overall usability.
